Aye and thousands of people who's only experience in courts is probably for things like pissing on the street as a teenager. All picking the bones out of it
Okay honest opinion. I reckon the EPL have already done what they needed to do - they delayed it long enough to get BEin to renew their broadcast rights in DEC 2020. and they delayed it long enough for the big 5 plus spurs to launch the failed ESL. They can say they did their bit. The PL QC looked shocked when he seemed to hear the figures involved in the damages claim. He also seemed shocked that the PIF may not come back to the table and he was fuming when little bits came firing out like the discrimination claims etc. When it comes to risk and reward - PL have too much to loose here. New owners by Chelsea game
This is what those ****s are trying to ensure plays second fiddle to pissy fanbases like man City ****s We can still dream... It could happen you know it can happen
To be totally honest I’m past caring if the takeover happens or not But after today , even if we lose the case the most important thing about this whole fiasco is that the truth comes out The involvement of Bein, the shady back door discussions between the PL and 6 members of a 20 strong league, a league in which they are supposed to represent the whole and those individuals who know they’ve been caught out, hopefully all come to light Even if we lose, we’ve won if that happens
Was quite telling that the PL QC didn't even try and dent that they threatened to throw the club out the league, he never denied that the O&D test was carried out in a discriminatory manner, he never denied the lobbying. All he was interested in was that he would have too much on his plate running 2 cases at once and the judge laughed at him. At no point did Danny Jowell belittle the guy or come across as unprofessional. By the end of the hearing the PL QC was visibly rattled and spitting out **** about NDM being there 6 hours after it started.
The PL QC was visibly shaken by Jowett's argument. His reference to case law and authority destroyed the PL's arguments.
Wish the hearing could have been recorded. Too busy at work to be able to watch but it seems as though it was an interesting watch.
I see it is being reported on the BBC but only on the Newcastle page and not the main Football Page as they are still pushing what Ronaldo has for his dinner which is more important to them https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58742750
I still worry. Let’s say we get the takeover and the PL and the other dirty half dozen don’t like it what happens then. Every decision goes against us. Fan abuse. Scrutiny at every level of finances.
I get the impression if news comes out on arbitration that they took money and bribes the media will report on neymars latest haircut instead
Considering that boring bastard took 2 and a half hours to repeatedly inform us that Mike Ashley owns the club over and over and over again, the cheeky **** then started to repeatedly look at his watch in what I can only ever remember Alex Fergusson doing when Man Utd needed a result
