Much more likely that Everton have pulled the plug after their fans turned up at the ground with banners calling their prospective manager a "fat kopite ****". We know Rafa was interested, we also know he's a history of taking unpopular jobs. This one was probably just a step too far for him. He could end up back here if a takeover goes through but again, the fact he was propositioning himself for Everton doesn't suggest to me in any way a deal is done or a settlement is ready.
