Yeah, market manipulation happens all the time on there. Big money traders moving markets for profit.
I think NCSL is starting to feel the heat. He's been putting out loads of heartfelt tweets about charity cases etc.. Searching for likes. Ben Jacobs has taken his soul
I think he's worse.. He needs to just stop... The clubs got the case and he's just embarassing himself. Ben Jacobs has taken him apart. All his scoops are **** all.. He's got **** all nobody else has seen.
Not only that he’s being hooked in by a much cleverer man. Jacobs is luring him. One step at a time and he doesn’t seem to see it. Oh dear!
What a collection of idiots Hastie is another one isn't he... He talks absolute crap.... He's always got some weird far out twist on everything. Then you've got the dentist who can make a 2 second sentence last half an hour... Aaaaarrrrmmm
It makes for a pretty boring thread though if we all just post "I don't know whether its happening" and "I agree with you" So here is my take: 1. I think that it is impossible for our legal team to prove that the state of Saudi Arabia does not exert significant control over PIF. Its the sovereign wealth fund, the ultimate beneficial owner is the State, and the Executive Board are appointed by Government Decree. 2. I can't see anything in the PL Regulations that state that a club can't be owned by a government-controlled entity. 3. I believe that the PL will eventually back-down before arbitration is complete and, if PIF wish to submit anew application for owner/director allow it to go through. Suspect they have too much to lose by allowing the arbitration and anti-competition case to continue to conclusion. Summary: It's happening.
No impact on the takeover. If anything it levels the playing field a little more. That’s good for football. Good for us under sensible ownership and good for the football pyramid. It’s bad news for teams in serious debt.
Actually hold on a minute. And I don’t mean this to be sexist or ageist or anything else but there’s something missing.... Fans! The Conservative MP Tracey Crouch recently confirmed the star chamber of experts who will help inform her “fan-led” review of the game. Roy Hodgson is on it, as is Clarke Carlisle, media executive and chair of the Women’s Super League Dawn Airey and Everton CEO Prof Denise Barrett-Baxendale. So TC - female and an MP RH - football dinasour CC - I like him but I think he’s had personal issues hasn’t he? DA - Women Super League and media exec DBB - also female and CEO of Everton FC That’s a bizarre mix?
