CHAPS payment - Same day. The money is transferred to a solicitor who holds until everything is signed. Once signed transferred. This has already happened apparently.
It’s instant. Payment is probably already setup and done. Deals usually only go through if the funds are actually in place and funds are proved. So I suspect the money is already ringgenced.
Yeah but done before close of play on the day it's made unless after 2pm ( depends on receiving bank)
