Oh don't get me wrong im hoping they boot them out and I believe there's a reason why the premier league is what it is.. The format, the history of the clubs, promotions, relegations and rivalries, but what I'm saying is that without the opportunity for clubs to gain the additional funds that finishing higher in the league and European money that there's simply no reason for investors to chase those positions.. Basically the opportunity to turn a 300 million club into a billion is no longer there and its a, big reason why the big 6 are making this disgusting power play
this is true unless and until the big stage collapses underneath them. If fan and celeb reaction I’ve seen here is anything to go by there is little goodwill being shown toward this risk-free/money-grubbing circus. If they can’t flog ppv due to lack of demand then the whole thing withers on the vine. And something else grows to replace it; the “Real European Cup” or somesuch, where teams can actually fail/not qualify. That’s what true fans want to see; not the ****ing Lion King being put on year after year.
I honestly agree but I think this is monumental. This is a defining moment in football and I think the 12 have got it wrong.
That’s not fair. His comments are valid from a negative perspective and I’m usually negative. But the togetherness of the fans and pundits and fan groups and everything makes me feel that this won’t happen.
Actually, reiterated that his views hadn't changed, he remains against it. He just got a bit touchy on the tops being left there.
Fair enough. I tried watching the game, but honestly felt sick to the stomach and switched it off. I honestly think I'll be done entirely now
I might have watched, but, its just meaningless, so snooker on instead. At least there's a Geordie playing.
