I don’t know mate. This fracas with Ritchie is being plugged all across the media right now. I agree it probably won’t be owt like. But when you lose the players and results are going down the pan usually a club reacts.
The media will hype it up, the club will play it down, bruce will say its nothing and that will be that. What happens here is always business as usual,so there's no point comparing what other clubs do There's no point sacking him anyway we're ****ed... The players are injured already and the windows shut... No half decent manager would take the job.
Mate, no half decent manager aside from Benitez has even been offered the job by Mike Ashley. Honestly, I don't know what we see sometimes. Kinnear was all over the papers for calling journalists c***s. Pardew headbutted an opposing player, ffs. Nothing happened. The fat idiot probably had a chuckle over a pint of snakebite or seven. He's either in on this disgusting joke, or so ****ing thick he still - inexplicably - can't see the damage he causese. As has been said, externally it'll be Bruce saying "the players care, that's all - we all do" and internally it'll be handbags. Anyone expecting Ashley to ever wake from this idiotic stupor and do something for the good of the club needs to check themselves in for psychiatric help.
Spot on mate it'll be a long the lines of how mat ritchies mat ritchie and his passion is there for all to see. Ashley hates being told what to do and I suspect he might have sociopathic tendencies, so the more nufc fans challenge him the less likley he is to give them what they're demanding.
Mike is clearly sociopathic, borderline psychotic, I've said that for years. He's a serial liar, vindictive, a gambler, classic traits. Nothing's going to happen - another day hoping for a managerial change will come and go.
The news is already that the issue is resolved. The part I found interesting was that Ritchie apologised to everyone which to me suggests the club backed Bruce to the hilt. You've only got to look at how Ashley runs his staff at sports direct.. He's a **** simple as that.
Only thing I doubt is that Ashley had anything to do with it, other than telling Charnley there's no money or appetite to change the manager in any circumstance. Forget Bruce, the fact Charnley is still here or was ever appointed tells you everything about Mike Ashley.
Ashley is a 100% a sociopath. Aside from the sacking of Allardyce, there is story that has done the rounds for a few years about a Sports Direct manager. Ashley humiliated them in a room full of people by belittling, sacking and laughing at them. Trust me - his behaviour is deliberate. He is getting the fans back for the way he was treated after Keegan.
It was the threat to his daughter I think. Since that time it’s been lie upon lie, and doing his very best to basically ignore the club.
TBH the least worrying bit is the fact they had a bit of a get together - it's the upsetting players like Darlow, throwing them under bus Dubz and Ritchie, the fact someone is saying the players are laughing at him in their private whatsapp group. If that is true then no matter what is said in public the players don't respect him and if there's no respect its over as far as turning them back around again. Rose highlighted last year the amount of time off he was giving them. How can we be preparing for the biggest game of the season 8 days after our last one and doing 3 days training? Should have been off Sunday after the game in Monday-Friday with maybe Wednesday off in the middle, tactics meeting Saturday, game Sunday.
Just think, all those wages per week and, at the end of the day, it’s only a part time job. Edit. If the players were really genuinely that bothered there’s nothing stopping them doing extra training. Ronaldo did it, not the Fat One although I did prefer him, and look where he ended up.
Not bad but if we don't beat them we wont beat villa that's for sure and if we dont beat Brighton we're as good as relegated
