Rafa now 1/4 to join Celtic. Apparently there's a fake letter doing the rounds with Rafas agent talking to Celtic. He's now 6/1, 3rd favourite to join Chelsea too. 16/1 Sheff Wed.
He just said he feels the expectation slightly outweighs the potential and tbh he's right... Under Ashley there's no potential at all but fans think higher achievable . I don't think he meant the clubs potential just currently, but of course the fans are cry arsing
Marca now reporting that Celtic have approached Rafa, apparently he's open to talks, but wants a Premier league job.
Rafa won’t be at Celtic, Scottish football is a graveyard unless you’re looking to start out or rebuild your career like Gerrard and Rodgers. Benitez still has a good reputation and can land a decent job outside of the elite clubs
There's no job available, unless Bruce is sacked on Monday. In which case it would mean Rafa working for Charnley and Ashley for however long it takes for new owners to come in, if they do. Is Ashley going to back Rafa in the last week of the transfer window? Don't bet on it. Celtic apparently have an announcement to make in 6 days time, could be a coincidence. There was rumours a couple of weeks ago, that he's spoken to both Chelsea and Arsenal too. His odds have shortened for Sheff Wed too. Then there's the Chile national team who have doubled their I initial offer to him and he's still their number 1 choice. I don't think he would take that job, BTW I'm just saying there's options for him.
Apparently Rafa wants a job immediately and doesn't to wait around. Napoli are now rumoured to want him back. Roma are also enquiring in to him. He's now 1/2 for Celtic.

good. Scottish football is **** and is a backwater. Rafa likes a challenge so I don’t think a two team league represents the type of project/challenge he wants. Wages may also be an issue.
