You're a moron. People are saying the exact same about Steve Bruce right now in comparison to Rafa. It was posted on here yesterday that infact Bruce has won more games than Rafa in 50 Premier league matches. But the Rafaheads like you and @captain wrong will say its the foundations that were set in place that cause this and not Bruce himself. Why can Howe not be shown the same respect?
No one thought his sacking was harsh, I was browsing their forums for a couple of seasons when there was rumours he could come here and they were saying if he had any dignity and if he loved the club that much he would walk because he had become an embarrassment. Saying how he had lost the dressing room, always complaining, looked ill, didn't look like his head was in it anymore, saying he needed a break, they said they would welcome him back in the future, but they needed a better coach who could take them to the next level. That was whilst they were safe from relegation. They ripped him to shreds when they were looking like being relegated saying how he wasted so much money on players like Ibe and Solanke and that he had a championship mentality. He stuck with his lower league players too long etc etc.
Read what I actually typed first would save you tons of time going through your screenshot folder. Reading continues to evade you like, it's been years on here now and it's still not improving
Tbh you're correct howe was dreadful and that's why he was sacked.. As soon as he got a bit of money he was found out. He did something good when he got them promoted and by keeping them up, but I'm not convinced that wasn't just chance until he's done it a second time. We've seen Bruce get promoted before and keep a side up, but we know he's no good
I don't care I'm just ironing out a few creases in your suggestion Bruce's football was the same ****.. Its just debating.. I can't keep saying the same thing about Howe.. I've already said my bit on that
I respect Howe for getting Bournemouth from the lower leagues to the Premier league, but it has been obvious they needed an upgrade and he was nothing more than a lower Premier league/ championship manager. Is that what we want? I remember Howe and Dyche were linked with jobs like Arsenal, Man Utd, Spurs, Chelsea over the years and yet none have come in for them despite having the chance to. As for Rafa, in his last 20 matches here, we were in top 8 form. We're currently in relegation form. Our stats are absolutely disastrous. We have also been an established Premier League side for 2 seasons before Bruce got here, had a rock solid defence and a team that understood a system and were well drilled. Bruce has annihilated all of that and spent 100 million. Let's not pretend that Bruce hasn't been ridiculously lucky snatching wins when we should have lost. If we didn't get those lucky breaks, we would be rock bottom right now. Everyone says, he looks like he will be sacked and then he pulls off a win.
Simply ludicrous. The rest is complete chatter really after that, any Bournemouth fan who would suggest that the person keeping their tiny, tiny club in the premier league is an "embarrassment" is on some form of opiate. I'm afraid. They had absolutely no business even being up here, everyone agreed that a tiny club like them were stealing a place. Those players cited, Ibe and Solanke were signed years before Bournemouth fell away and only cost £15M and £19M respectively. Solanke remains a Bournemouth starter to this day. I'm sorry, but this entire post is absolute nonsense I'm afraid.
If you don't care don't reply mate. I didn't make that suggestion, I am making the suggestion that when it suits you two we can point to a previous manager and say "thats his legacy" but when its a manager you dont like it was all a disaster and simply not goo enough. So the new manager is just doing it all better and the previous "isnt needed" ok, by that logic Rafa "wasnt needed" quite clearly that argument is ******ed. Rafa did his job howe did his job.
Favre was suggested on here I think and while that's probably too ambitious I think of offered enough he'd take it... I don't want him either btw... Not yet I want someone reliable until the groundwork is done and its safe to start trying to be pretty
Why not he's been sacked... If the money was right and we had a new owner he'd sign so fast he'd get thumb burn,. Right now as things stand we simply won't offer enough and the project is poor.
You're basing absolutely every opinion on this takeover being right around the corner, I don't think we will survive another season like this- We needed this takeover yesterday to be honest, if they're not going to sort out this political ****storm they need to **** off and let someone else come in and buy.
I'm basically saying just gamble on Bruce keeping us up rather than gamble of someone that's just been relegated at a smaller club. Im hoping Bruce keeps us up and then gets sacked anyway post a takeover which simply will not happen if we're in danger of going down and we're in danger despite our false position.. Look if I woke up and Bruce was gone and Howe replaced him I wouldn't complain, but I'm thinking the long game thats all.
