Be interesting to see the PL's response. Currently suing a Local Council and they were given 21 days to respond to the letter of claim. Nothing of course.
So the premier leagues request for extra time has been denied. Does this mean it will end up in court.
Who knows, but I have a feeling whatever they send back will be carefully constructed to make the buyers look bad and that the sun shines from their arses.. This is unlikely to yield anything positive.. I would hazard a guess that the premier league can afford to wipe the floor with them
Idiots. Why would you reject the request for extra time? They've engaged, objective achieved. In the eyes of a court they'll look unreasonable. A court would always push parties towards amicable dispute resolution. The court don't want **** like this clogging up their system hence ADR is preferred. This just makes them look like they're on a crusade, aren't really interested in whether something is legal and essentially are doing this for kudos. The law and the intricacies of it still apply to them, so they should wise up. I assume though someone is advising them so perhaps there is more to the reasons for rejecting than meets the eye. They've chosen to state the time taken is only one of the reasons. The other ones will need to be good because saying "they've had enough time" simply will not wash with the courts.
They asked for the info in August.... Im. Sure the QC knows better than the people calling him an idiot tbh
The two week extension was what the PL would have wanted, hence why they asked for it. Could be a good thing that they refused it. Unless it was just a double bluff, wouldn't surprise me at all. Whilst being complete ****s, they've proven than they're equally as sly and sneaky!
They did fix that though, and after those issues were fixed the general quality was very good. The issue was a mix up between a Chinese and Turkish manufacturer
