Indeed. QCs of that level will not want their own reputation tarnished by participating in a futile David vs Goliath battle where David forgot to bring his slingshot. The fact he is involved means he believes they have something worth pursuing court.

He just isn't having it is he Captain Wrong will not accept that this is a legal case is not just a letter you got from a private car park saying you didn't pay for a ticket so you have been fined and if you just ignore them it will all just go away. If you are found guilty of anti-competition law you could be fined 10% of your worldwide turnover, sued for damages and go to jail for 5 years. Do you really think they want that with the current loss of income from broadcasting rights.

They cant just call there bluff man. If this goes to court which it will they have to release all evidence they wont want to release that with all their private meetings with the so called big six.
