They don't, they haven't even been allowed to invest in a British football team. Why the **** would they bail out the EFL.
Nufc creates a lot of interest on social media. Rumours that talksport numbers are on the floor, throw out a non-committal story about Saudis, get some views. it’s a ****ing ridiculous idea.
Change of subject, but how don’t Aston Villa have about 80 players in their squad. They seem to buy 10 players every window, most been ****e.
Someone on here always reminds us they're one of the richest clubs in Britain. Somehow one of the ****test in Britain still. I firmly believe it's due to Birmingham being a ****hole. You can't polish a turd.
It just takes time it's their 2nd season.. Eventually and it might be this season they'll climb and then they'll just keep cranking it up.. Nufc on the other hand will be fighting for 17th forever without similar new owners... Its just the way its gone. They'll ditch the manager one day and get someone good, but aren't quite there yet
The problem for me is none of it really matters anymore. Say there is a takeover of NUFC, what then? Suddenly the PL aren't corrupt and there's no agenda against the other 13 clubs in the division and, by extension, every other club in England? Football is forever tainted by this saga, and it's in real trouble. Sponsors pulling out, TV rights likely to tank by over £500m, rows between the EFL and PL, serious investigations yet again at the top table, dwindling numbers of fans, constant threat of Covid. Takeover or not, football's ****ed.
Yeah but id rather join them than be one of the bottom feeders... Sadly that's the way it is.... The fans don't care either.. Fans of all othe clubs are delighted tgectsjeive was stopped and don't care how, so really only the Toon fans are bothered and they'll just accept it and move on...
Only the Tag and Hublot brands are owned by the same company, so that narrative is completely false. They’ve just decided to align the Tag brand with Motorsport and the Hublot brand with football.
Like anybody gives a **** what some barely-literate Geordie keyboard warriors think. It's really irritating to keep seeing every bit of news, such as the Qatar/FIFA case or PIF investment, somehow be about NUFC. On this scale, NUFC is utterly irrelevant. I don't even believe there IS involvement with PIF. This is the same NUFC that currently makes up less than 5% of Fraser Group revenue. To add more context, that would represent under 0.1% of the interests of PIF.
Is right mate. The ‘bad publicity’ was basically a relatively small number of toon fans posting spoof reviews on trustpilot and latching on to any of the PL brands sponsors tweets for about a fortnight. I think you’re spot on with the level of impact and importance this issue had in the grand scheme of things & tweets like that one are just deluded imo.
