Basically they agreed a deal with a Chinese company who then didn’t pay a penny, in spite of broadcasting loads of games! There was £165m overdue and a further lump due each season. Theyve really only lost £166m so far. The Chinese gov are telling the PL to go **** themselves and it looks like our Gov have said the same. That means no replacement deal on China. KSA should have been a good fallback position but they’ve killed that stone dead. Which basically means overseas they have the US deal and Bein with a.few minor deals. It’s a black hole in TV earnings and some clubs are going to really struggle. Why do you think our transfer budget is now £0?
