I’ve said it before but it’s ****ing weird that the PL are being accused far and wide of corruption, have a 100k+ petition levelled at them, 30+ MP letters, the Independent Football Ombudsman and the Prime Minister all asking for clarity and remain silent. It’s an epic level of arrogance. I’m not sure I’ve seen anything like it, it’s literally surreal.
thats a key point. I think Sky are staying quiet cos they know the Saudis will add value to their brand via football and also things like the boxing F1 etc as the KSA start spending more and more on sport. they know that Qatar is corrupt and tainted in terms of football now.
The Premier league may well have spoken to someone but we don't know it. This deal will suddenly be announced in the coming weeks
I think once all the focus on Richard Masters and the PL is at it's height from Ombudsman, PM, MPs Fans Groups etc the consortium will announce they are back at the table putting Masters under severe scrutiny and pressure
More like they don’t want to upset the PL and queer their pitch with them on tv rights given the prospective new bidders that might join in on the next bidding.
