Forgot British telecom and Sheffield United. The fact is they DID NOT have grounds to fail it so they didn't pass it either. We need 100k on the petition.. Regardless of whether it pressures a response.. This needs investigating...
they would of made another excuse to keep the waiting going and had PIF/Staveley said anything the PL would use that excuse to say that they broke the Confidentiality of the deal
When we get relegated out of the PL jurisdiction I hope PIF come back in to pass the EFL test and get us promoted.
This is the thing.. No grounds to fail it or they bloody would have. The long term interests of the club being sold were ignored completely.. There was issues surrounding piracy but clearly there was no link.. They wanted to fail it anyway so they did nothing..
Qatar runs the Premier League. The very fact that BEin Sports were allowed to e-mail the other 19 clubs asking them to oppose tge takeover is disgraceful. Commercial partners and clubs should have absolutely no say.
i remain convinced that the only way to cleans ourselves of Ashley, the PL, players who can’t be arsed is to drop like a stone and shake all of the off. we then build again and come back stronger. nezt year is going to be vile to watch as we scrape the odd point here and there against piss poor sides. my favourite season of the past decade has been the Last championship one. I’d take that again in a heartbeat.
that interference alone means the PL are not impartial. Process should be run by an external body. Maybe a law firm who can look just within the rules and ignore external bullshit.
and there we have it we need to know what power the cartel and 'partners' has over the league it has to be made clear I thought secret societies where illegal where is the transparency of this organisation based in the UK
Yup. Raised that yesterday. Legal tests should be carried out by an independent, objective external legal body. If they identify issues, they go to the buyer and say 'we have identified x, y, z'. They then tell the buyers what needs to be done to comply legally. If the buyers remedy then the legal test can be passed and the findings reported back to the PL. If tbe legal body finds no grounds to fail, the test passes and takeover happens. The legal body has nothing to gain. They just impose the rules.
There's been corruption, but I do have a gripe with PIF for pulling out! We've been Vilified, left tared with their brush.. The fans were fighting their side vs the media throughout around the hypocrisy surrounding human rights etc and in the end they've just walked away and left us to pick up the pieces.. This isn't a good luck for us at all.. They could've at least seen it through.
