Find the news confirmed, exclusively launched by Sportitalia - and not reported by the British tabloids - that Gianfranco Zola is in discussions with Watford.
Also confirmed that the lawyer Fulvio Marrucco is in London to try to work out the details. Zola, remember, has received a proposal of four years with the English club.

Even if there were any sense in letting Dyche go (and there isn't), why on earth would we offer Zola a four year contract?

Let's say this does happen. It would be wrong to tar Zola with a certain brush purely because of the similarities to Vialli, but what we should surely do is learn the lessons from a decade ago: giving a big name a lucrative contract and later trying to get rid of him.

Who's the we in this? It could be a pozzo lineup to be transplanted in en mass. I really hope not as it would indicate a willingness to rip the heart out of the club, not so far different from MK Dons Wimbledon debacle. The club is a living organism and our one doesn't need major surgery!!! Did Seans loyalty a two way street comment have more meaning than realised at the time was it 10 days ago.

I think that from the bits and bobs I have read and heard today, the bonds are likely to remain in place, and it will be for the new owners to re-pay them over the term.

If this turns out to be correct then we still have the backstop that appears to have been so important at present.

I didn't think the bonds were transferable and maybe thats been the sticking point. I can't see them being transferred and allowing Bassini to pocket a profit.

Right, does anyone know how the ptential new owners have run the other clubs that they have?????

This may give us some indication of how they might change Watford FC.

Looks like we can all stop guessing about the new owners and who will be manager and wait until the announcements - Oh sorry, i am sure someone ITK will reveal all on Twatter first.

Anyway as long as they get draft Moretti in The Rookery....
