....But what are the intentions of the new owners? Their business model seems to be to regard players as "investments".Good business idea--it is impossible to make money by running a football club, but it might be possible to make money by finding (then selling) a Ronaldo every couple of years. You need to "process" maybe 100 young footballers to find one Ronaldo, but it looks like a workable plan. So Watford is now part of a "footballer factory" devoted to seeking and developing saleable football talent .....
'Fishal site now says Timperley and Fransen have received notification of their removal from board of Watford Leisure Limited. I assume that this suggests the takeover is going ahead.
Now on Watford Observer, looks like a done deal or Baz has forfeted on the bond agreement! So either way no more baz.
Thats true although what would Watford Leisure control? if he defaulted on the bond agreement then surely the club belongs to Ashcroft/Simpson again or if bought would go to them.He is staying on the Watford Leisure board though..
