John Gregory's quote
"Credit to Bristol. They put four on up front and just stuck the ball in our half of the pitch as often as they could. They had the wind behind them as well. They deserved to win it - we didn't.
There are more ways than one to stop teams scoring besides packing the defensive half;......press in attacking numbers and don't let them get out of there own half seems to have done the trick here. Sounds more like the way we used to play..........just have to be careful that the opposition greyhound doesn't break away......alla Bobby Jones.
Thought I would add this from John Ward as it sort of confirms the point.
Things changed in the second half, though, when goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall was a virtual spectator and goals in the last seven minutes, from Eliot Richards and John-Joe O’Toole means that his side will now face Birmingham City in round three.
