i had us on 39pts but realistically if we beat bolton, blackburn and west brom the teams around we have a brilliant chance to stay up 39pts will make us safe but i feel 35 will do it.

Had us on 36pts with a win against Wolves... Still think we can stay up with 35 or even less, think some above us will start to have a crisis.

i got Wigan wolves an Blackburn relegated. Im not bitter but tried my best to get Man U, Citeh and Ch3l5ea relegated.....

Having updated each set of fixtures as I went and looked at the impact on the table, what is clear (from my wet fingers in the air, at least) is that we're not likely to escape to a permanent position of relative safety at any time during the remainder of the season. I can see us flirting with the relegation places, but not actually getting our todger in her knickers.

Succinctly put Uber!! <laugh>

Must have had my rose tinted glasses on when I made my score selections, but this is how the bottom of my table ended up:-

14 - QPR - 43 pts
15 - Stoke - 40 pts
16 - West Brom - 38 pts
17 - Wolves - 29 pts
18 - Bolton - 29 pts
19 - Blackburn - 27 pts
20 - Wigan - 25 pts

i think the question should be "How can Bolton finish with 18 points, when they already have 20 atm, points deduction coming for them???"

Ah. Well. Hmm...

I think I may have mixed up the order. :-)

It was probably: Bolton (33), Wolves(22) and Wigan(18).

The advanatge of doing this predictor is that we see the run in for all the bottom teams is difficult. There are no easy games. I was wildly too optimistic as had us finishing 12th! With the new found quality in the QPR time, we may just about be ok.

ok, was particularly harsh on us, but also on most others around us...here is what I had;

11 Swansea 43
12 Fulham 42
13 Stoke 42
14 Bolton 39
15 Aston Villa 37
16 West Brom 36
17 QPR 32
18 Blackburn 31
19 Wolves 27
20 Wigan 21

I had a Draw away at Blackburn, Win at home to Fulham, Draw at home to Everton, Loss away at Bolton, Loss at home to Liverpool, Loss away at Sunderland, Loss at home to Arsenal, Loss away at Man U, Win at home to Swansea, Loss away at West Brom, Loss at home to Spurs, Loss away at Chelsea, Win at home to Stoke and Loss on final day at Man City.

In summary, I think we should get points against Blackburn, Fulham, Everton, Swansea and Stoke.

Lots of variables though...injuries and bans may make a big difference to us and teams around us. Funny ol game though...who knows, we may lose all those I have us picking up points in but collect away wins at Chelsea, Man U and Citeh! ;o)

Remember the jubilation, relief and manic euphoria we felt last year just before the Leeds game when we found out there would be no points deduction and we were in fact champions?
The day we know for sure that we're mathematically safe this year will match that and come close to topping it for me.
Plus it will bring an end to if we draw those two but lose these three etc.
Come on you R'SSSSS!!!!!!
