There is no doubt that things will need to change on the field as far as tactics and formation are concerned this season, but every team needs a flair player and i cant think of anyone currently at QPR that comes near to Adel. Hes a genuine prima donna though :)

Is nobody looking at this as another dig at the goons for not being prepared to invest in our premiership future. Adel's right, he probably does deserve an enhanced contract for what he's done for us. I still have big reservations that he can do it in the Premiership but hey!, we won't know unless we give the guy a chance, who says he can't step up!.

Anyone could be behind his comments, Neil to get the goons to part with some cash, his agent to get a better deal. Players are doing this all the time to get the best deal they can (look at Rooney/Tevez etc.) or to get the best players transferred to the team that they can, it's part and parcel of todays football world, whether we agree with/like it or not.

Take it with a pinch of salt, especially if its reported in our own press, lay off our 'best' player and keep our barbed comments aimed at the goons.

I wonder how much of this Warnock will tolerate. Granted we needed Tarbs last season and he got away with loads of shenanigans that he probally shouldn't of.

I don't want him to leave, just think he will if we get a decent offer.... which I dont think we will... :S

QPR skipper Adel Taarabt says he's happy at Loftus Road – for now.

The outspoken Moroccan infuriated R's fans this week by claiming he wanted a move to west London rivals Chelsea.

Taarabt also admitted he was keen on a potential move to Newcastle United after Rangers refused to give him a new deal after promotion to the Premier League.

The former Spurs star has now claimed the Blues as well as Arsenal have made contact.

But he insists he's content to stay put in W12 for the time being.

He said: "QPR will demand £10million for me, and for now, the clubs do not move too much.

"I had contact with Arsenal and Chelsea, but it is a little muddled [difficult]. Arsenal have not yet sold [Cesc] Fabregas, and as for Chelsea, they do not yet have a coach, so we will see.

"I would like to stay in London - it is the best city in the world, and with Queens Park Rangers. Why not?

"When I talked with the coach, he told me the club would aim to be in the top eight."

Can only mean either of 2 things - Taarabt is very gullible or Mittal is close to a takeover.

Personally, I think that if Taarabt wants to go, then we take the money and run.

No-one else is going to build a team around him, and he would soon find himself on the fringes of whichever team he joins. He IS a great player, but not yet as great as HE thinks he is.

Best million pounds, for my money, was spent on Roy Wegerle! And how much would Stan be worth? LOL!!!
