OK, I agree that Tarbs was our best & most influential player last season by a country mile. But, & this is a very big but, this coming season is going to be a completely different ball game, (pardon the pun) if he decides to throw a wobbly & sulk away at Man. U. or anywhere else for that matter, what's going to be the outcome? We'll get hammered! It's going to be tough beyond belief to stay in this league, we're going to have to scrap for every single point. the one thing we aren't going to have the luxury of doing is carrying any player who doesn't fancy it on the day, otherwise we are going to be on the end of some pretty horrible scorelines. With the way Tarbs head appears to be at present, would you want him in the trenches with you? I certainly wouldn't. But, If this is all paper talk, & Sir Neil is happy with him, then fine, he could be just the player to get those extra points we need.
