I hope you do play him, because then we can show you why we were keen to let him go for such little money. The kid is an egotistical idiot, and we were well shot of him. You'll feel the same when you finally find someone mug enough to pay you hard cash for him.
Clearly, most of us saw Adel's mis-placed passes in the early part of yesterday's game but I thought he got better as time went on and was one of our few creative forces. This season he has been less keen to trick his way past every opposition player on the pitch and is looking more for the killer pass. For goodness sake, he even made a header yesterday which is as many as he made in the whole of last season! He is clearly VERY unfit and IMO that's why he was subbed, so that Smith gave us some fresh legs upfront and, where Adel is weak, in defence. He is also immature but he may grow out of that and I, for one, VERY much hope he stays with us and realises his fantastic potential.
His team mates should buy him some glasses from Specsavers and tell him to wear them when playing Spurs next week and have a real hard and good look at their player with a similar role and specialties ..... Van Der Vaart. Taarabt has all the ability to become as good as Van Der Vaart but he just needs stability in his game. He has to grow up now and show maturity otherwise he will always be labelled as the kid with great potential but never to fulfill it. To argue about a penalty and put further distraction on the penalty taker is just not done.
If Adel joins PSG he will disappear into the obscurity of the French league and will never be seen again!! He needs to knuckle down and get on with playing in the best league in the world.
