Couldn't agree more - even if it is a Yokel on the wum. The Taarabt worshipping does get embarrassing I must admit. It never ceases to amaze how people can so easily get carried along by a wave of hype and euphoria. On a small scale such as this it has the effect of irritating people and giving opposition fans ammunition to slate us. On a large scale it can result in mass murder and genocide as was the case with German National Socialism. Stupid religions have the same effect on their followers. Bye bye logic - hello fantasy. This Carrot head may well be a clown trying to wind you all up but he has inadvertently landed on the truth. We are fast becoming the small Club that everybody loves to hate. Think of Leeds and Liverpool fans and how annoying it is to hear their delusions of grandeur. We've become everything we used to despise. Flash, arrogant and with ideas above our station. We have become, in effect, a mini Chelsea. Time to wake up boys and realize the sh*t that we're in.
No prizes are given out until May. I have looked at my comments and you are right they make absolutely no sense at all
I see him play every other week. We love him for his spirit and attitude, he does a job, but trust me, he's limited. That my friend is an excellent description of West Londoners, and I am delighted to have it this way.
Of course you have to worship Taarabt ... even neutrals do he has skills that light up this league. Don't say that is embarrassing without firmly putting yourself out there .. He is a genius of a footballer that plays for the club you support. It has **** all to do with Nazis. I foretold of the public opinion turning against our Club and the many guises that would present itself in. It's Money, Location and a Heritage of quality football that have us a attractive project to build up ... get over it. All the time we associate ourselves with skilful football then that's great in my book. Swords doesn't like Taarabt as he has a history of slagging him off ... Pride still drives that but he knows he is completely wrong. If the premiership or football as entertainment means watching Norwich v Stoke or similar ... then its time to pen up our wrists. I like the fact that the Norwich story is successful at the moment BUT on the whole I want to be entertained by my team win or lose. Swansea currently have the neutral hearts deservedly so IMO ... great background story and new fresh football. QPR will grow to compete on this level and as an asset will be worth a lot of money in the future ... rightly or wrongly this is down its location in West London. Within another 30 years if you want to see your Nazi style theories then watch how London is socially engineered... it's own multi cultural rich country within this country.
Thanks, I think? I was not trying to be WUM on purpose. But the comments were so dissolutioned I had to write something. You do not have any player that is worth £20m at the moment, let alone £40m.
Of course not but in time perhaps he will earn his stripes. I won't hold my breath however. I had a similar experience on the Leeds Board the other night. They were banging on about breaking into the top six and I thought that's a reasonable aim - they're only 5 points adrift at the moment. Until I realised they meant the top six in the Prem! I felt I had to comment on such nonsense just like you did here. That's presuming you were not wumming!
Not wumming, Like you, when I read stuff that's such complete tripe I feel like I have to. I know that Norwich are a "small'ish" club in the premier league and I am thrilled by the way we have surprised everyone, especially that twonk Lawrenson who "works" for the BBC. I know we have no stand out players that are tempremental and eccentric but our way has worked. So when I read that stuff that was being spouted I felt I had to take the guy to task.
Indeed I was aware I was invoking Godwin when I wrote that passage. I proceeded still because the point needed illustrating. Look at all the lemmings up on top of mountains and down inside bunkers today because some Indian savages couldn't count further than today's date. These quislings are repugnant to me.
Taarabt has been working much harder in 2012, especially in the last 7-8 games and has done his flashes of brilliance throughout. Not always productive. Not worth 20M but probably 10-15M. Now, as far as taking people to task on unreasonable comments, implying that Holt is worth more than 5 of our players must mean you need to say something to yourself. He's not even as good as Hoolaghan or Pilkington and they're not worth 5 of our players.
I bet each fan who regularly goes to games (outside of the big 5 or 6 teams who’s line ups are constantly analysed) is aware of a player in their team who is massively underrated or unappreciated. We know a lot more about Adel than any fans of other teams and just let us crack on our board with out own view points. I don’t know or care enough about any team other than Rangers. I’ve got no idea why opposition teams are so concerned with what we think about Taarabt. On Saturday Adel made one mistake, he did a couple of step overs and the ball went off the pitch at this point I think the entire Fulham end in unison made a dirty stain in their pants and shrieked at the sheer delight of Adel making a mistake. The fans of other teams who felt the need to get involved in this thread are of the same mindset. I get there are a few QPR fans who are so set in their old fashioned ways that they cant appreciate Adel style and ability but the thought process of the saddo’s from other teams getting involved is not clear to me.
Old fashioned ways should lead to an appreciation of Taarabt's style, we of all clubs have a great tradition of such brilliant flair players.
