Roy hits four fours in the first over. At that rate, it'll be over in 9.5 overs... :)

49 without loss after 4. We thought that NZ had started really well. They were 31-1 at this stage...

First wicket down. Hales goes for 20, England now 82-1 after 8.2 overs. And in comes Joe Root...

Two quick wickets, and another duck for Morgan. It shouldn't matter... should it?

Brilliant stuff from England.
Got in from work just in time to see the last few overs.

Let's win this thing!!

Only caught the last 6 overs but Jos Butler was brilliant at the death, well done England. Hoping for India in the final, that will be some atmosphere!

Fantastic performance from England, particularly with bat.

Could just be the boost England needed especially as New Zealand were the in-form team.

A comfortable win in the end. To restrict NZ to 153 from 89/1 at halfway was an excellent performance by the bowlers - Jordan and Stokes in particular - and England's batting line-up could be fancied to chase down almost any score on their day. I'd prefer West Indies in the final because we owe them, but India would bring a fantastic atmosphere - I shan't be watching football on Sunday afternoon, that's for sure.

New Zealand 64/7 in the last ten overs. Great comeback and bowling by England.

Good luck in the final.
