They say that now too, watch MOTD and they will say its a penalty as "he was touched" and I remember SAF saying a Ronaldo dive should have been a penalty since he thought he was about to get fouled.
Thats one of the biggest WTF comments Ive ever heard from a manager.

10 years ago it was "he should have stayed on his feet" and now its "he was touched so its a penalty".

but have got hammered by us 3-0 and 4-0 in the last 2 years because all you have to do is not get drawn forward which means they have to try and pass through the midfield which they cant do.

The reason why they beat the top teams is that the top teams tried to come forward to get the ball off them and left space. We didnt, we just let them pass the ball across their back 4 for minutes at a time.

Remind me. Which two countries are next in line to follow Greece into insolvency? Oh yes, I remember, Italy and Spain. Must have something to do with their culture!

Agree 100% with all of this. And if the scum are copying the Barcelona stylee then surely its time for inventive coaches to look at other approaches. There is a reason why the PL is the most successful league in the world.

We did beat Swansea but they finished higher then us with probably worse players so what is better? Their system of passing or ours? We will get the ball on the floor this season and play more attractive football I am sure. Everything in pre season and Mark Hughes signings suggest that.

I think he will try but it wont be successful because any team playing at Anfield will let them have it and wont chase them and half the PL will be happy with a draw at home to liverpool.

His style relies on the other teams chasing the ball and Id be surprised if he was still there at the end of the season. I dont think their fans (or us for that matter) would stand for the boring football.
