Off Topic Syrups

A brief discussion with Tobes prompted me to write this thread. Who has the best and worst Syrups in the world of football? Many years back a local pub used to have a ginger haired Paddy who came in with what could only be described as having a Black topper which looked as funny as **** with the red haired sideburns.

For a bit of fun you can include football fans as it’s crimble soon. Knock yourselves out lads.

Twenty odd years ago, I worked for a bloke who obviously wore a wig. I was told about it before I went for the interview and inspecting it made concentrating on what he said very difficult. He was about 40. He must have been totally bald, as the wig covered the whole of his head where hair should have been growing. From the front it looked pretty good but from the back, you could tell that the hair wasn't fixed to his head as it stuck out away from his neck.

After I'd been there a while, another employee asked if I'd spotted his hair 'growing'? He told me to look at the length of his hair every second Monday. Every 2 weeks, he'd wear a longer wig on an 8 week rotation cycle, until he'd go back to the shortest one, thereby giving the impression of having had a hair cut.........completely ingenious and totally bonkers as you'd have to have been blind and stupid not to have guessed. Still makes me smile now, imagining the 4 plastic heads that he'd need to keep the unused wigs on. ****ing madness.

 

I can understand some people might want to hide the fact but it wouldn’t be for me and that charade has to be madness.

 

I HATE maple syrup with a passion. Primarily, the smell. I can think of no worse smell than maple syrup.

Yes, that's an accurate description of Maple Syrup smell... Add in the smell of a dead skunk and you've got it.
