He runs into tackles, rather than around defenders. Just getting a shot in doesn't qualify him for a 'decent performance' rating. He takes up a valuable supporting role for the strikers and overall wastes it.
I wasn't saying the missed shot meant he had a good performance, I was saying the "knockers" would use that to slate him. He had a good performance because he had a good performance. Again, this is all the knockers do- "He runs into tackles, rather than around defenders." , "he's ****", "he's a joke", "he can't shoot". Right...but how did he play ? The away fans were chanting "da, da, da da da da da, Sean-wright-Phillips!" , so It sounds like they disagree with you.
SWP: 10/10 defensively, 6/10 offensively. We were playing away at Leeds where we haven't won since 1995, i. e. WELL PLAYED SHAUN! The only good knockers are on a women's chest
had a good game today, quit knocking the players we have left. Agreed that he isnt as effective as we would like but he cant help simply not being good enough. He's obviously got a decent attitude or he would have gone but we're winning games and still have a couple of days left to try and improve the team.
This is exactly a case in point: Absolutely bizarre. Why? Why blindly refuse to accept when SWP plays well guys? How're the tinfoil hats + lizard monarchy treating you these days? Last season we had a bunch of mercenaries who didn't try hard for us. Now everyone's giving it a go and playing well, yet we still target the same individuals to single out every week. A shame.
SWP played very well today...Harry thought so too...He played 90 min. The lad has an engine the size of the ten ton locomotive and he cares, he really really cares...Stop knocking him
Amit Bhatia ‏@Amit_Bhatia99 29m Great result. Had graft. So pleased. For me @swp29 was MOTM. Worked so hard for the team till the final whistle. He's getting younger. Star.
What annoys me about him is apart from him not being very good is the fact that he never shows disappointment when he ****s something up which is more often than not, and instead smiles like some sort of deranged madman.
They only sing that because its catchy. Hes an attacking player, I dont want to see "he tried hard" "he had a couple of good tackles". I want to see him score and create goals as thats what his job is but hes not very good at it.
I want to see my team win....he contributed a lot to that win today..... If he plays in all matches and does what he did today, and we win promotion but he never scores...I will salute him as a hero
Then we will have got promoted despite him playing, not because of him playing. Hoilett is 10 times the player SWP is. So is Philips and I hope him getting fit finally relegates SWP to where he belongs. A sub coming on to defend leads.
It was a normal bog-standard set piece which Leeds should have dealt with, Onouha created that goal. Barton put in a load of sloppy passes, a lot more than SWP. In fact Barton was worse Vs Bolton than SWP was V Swindon; so we should probably all be slating Joey. That's what us QPR fans do isn't it?
Ill forgive a player for sloppy passes when they create the only goal of the game, when was the last time SWP did that?
Joey didn't create the goal- he didn't win the freekick, he didn't get an assist, and he didn't put in a special delivery. If he'd taken a quick free kick to put a man through to score, then i'd credit him with creating a goal. When was the last time Henry or O'niel created a goal? We've only scored 6 goals in the league this season, so even if they were all created by different people (which I doubt), there'd still be 4 other outfield players who hadn't. Why not create negative threads about them too?
