I doubt MH will play 4 2 3 1 , though I wish he would. I think it better suits our porous defense and gives us more fluidity going forward. I agree Cisse must of course get in the box whatever system we play.

Trouble is then he takes Taarabts best position, Id rather see SWP dropped and then Taarabt on the right with Traore on the left. We would be so much more of a threat, its so frustrating the totally ineffective SWP is put on the left time after time.

Having said I'd prefer him to play 4 2 3 1, I think its most important that he settles on one main sytem NOW, and stops chopping and changing it. There's not time for this now! He started with 4-4 -2, but seems to have been trying all sorts of weird formations out with diastrous results, yet never seemed to play 4 2 3 1

Hes only ever played 442 or a 4411 if we only had 1 fit forward.

Everyone knows how to play a 442 so there should be no time to adjust it. 4231 only worked when Adel was getting all those goals and assists, seeing as he hasnt scored yet, we are better off playing 2 up front.

Well it looked something like 4 1 4 1 how we started against Fulham! Certainly that's what The PL channel thought it was, and the way Diakite was getting forward it looked that way. It was a f*kkin distastor too!

SWP has been dreadful. His pass completion is awful. He crosses like a Sunday league player. He never picks someone out, he just hits the first man or puts it wherever he can.

I ask again name me one game that he played well and posed an attacking threat.

People who should get in the team ahead of him; Smith, Mackie, Traore, Adel. I honestly would rather Ephraim.

My problem with him is that he shouldn't be starting. He has contributed nothing in an attacking sense. His only redemming feature is that he works hard but you could pick any player out of the Chammpionship and they would do that equally as well.

Hughes MUST drop him tomorrow. He is so out of form and we can't afford to have passengers

Here here!!! He was immense against Norwich! The fitness with those runs and the chasing long balls into space. I'd rate that performance as heroic....... But best we don't focus in that ;-)

Just have a feeling SWP may score his first goal for us tomorrow. Whether we win is another matter.

It was a disaster because no one tracked back on our left for the first 25mins!! Either Mackie wasn't following instructions (he was tracking back centrally) or MH had the weirdest of game plans!!
BTW, 4-2-3-1 suits Adel best as he can play in the centre of the attacking 3, which imo is his best position. However, MH likes 4-4-2 or 4-1-3-2 (which is basically the same) and it worked well for Adel against Wigan. Please God we see that again!!
