Good points Yorkshire - time and time again SWP has failed to deliver, like I said in previous posts I cannot wait for the ´flotsam´ to leave us in the summer!!!
Even though he's technically a striker, I liked Ishmail Miller on the wing. I wouldn't have minded having him back on loan again until the end of this season. Anyway, what's the point of speculating on that?

It is a shame - I hoped for good things from SWP when he arrived and his early promise (one game?) just dwindled almost immediately. As you say KPD - speed and work ethic are there, just a shame all that time spent bench warming at City seems to have destroyed any confidence or touch he once had. Without playing regularly for the best part of the last 5-6 years he appears to have failed to develop and adjust his game as he's gotten older. Things that probably came off for him when he was younger just don't work anymore. He'll probably end up warming the bench in NY if he goes there...
talent. he cant even kick the ball correctly, nearly every shot is dragged low left and the rest end up in the upper tier. how does someone that fast fail to go past a man in every game? instead he does a 360 and falls over!
Difficult to argue against that, but surely there is some talent there to make Man City and Chelsea buy him (and England select him 36 times) in the first place. As Badger said, I believe it is more a matter of lack of confidence, bench warming has ruined him.
