For the record, Swords got the 4 week ban we asked for. Nothing more, nothing less. The new SuperMod (brb) who has no experience of Swords (unlike his predecessor) will bear witness to that. He even confirmed from the outset the date (28.10.12) when the ban would be lifted.

Have to say, without Swords for the reasons given at great length and in many threads - and without DT for a coupla three weeks for reasons best known to himself, this board has been as easy to mod as ever was. Not one complaint from anyone about anything - and that during the most torrid of times for QPR FC.

Furthermore, if DT's accusations of poll rigging and favouritism have any truth in them at all, the poll rigging occurred in the vote on Swords 4 week ban as set by an expressed opponent of our decision as mods; and the favouritism suggested in our turning blind eyes to 'offences' committed by posters other than Swords, are testament to our inclination to live and let live as often as we possibly can. Many of those so called 'offences' were reactions to deliberate provocations from the people in question.

The fact remains that the main antagonists on this board over recent months, have been Swords (who has now served his time) and DT, a constant thorn in our side as mods, and increasingly the subject of a number of complaints (which have started again within hours of his self-imposed exile), has not.

Once again, a thread on same old, same old duly closed.
