I think you have been a bit unfair. You don't necessarily need to have a team built around you to be world class. Maldini was world class, as was Baresi, Zoff, Banks, Thuram, Lahm,... You get my drift Beckham had a world class pass, delivery and touch. He did his job in a world class manner.... Most of the time.
7-10 years ago Rooney had a great first touch. Over the past few seasons I've seen it deteriate more and more. I don't understand it.
Can't believe Delph and Colback got called up ahead of Cork and Ward-Prowse. Hodgson really is a clueless ****.
Swiss picking up the pace a bit...one goal going to settle this. Delph treading a thin line...the ref is being very fair...has warned him twice.
Ricardo Rodriguez still looks a class act at left-back, surprised nobody in the Premier League snapped him up this summer.
So who was the last player to get sent off in their first game for England?.. P.s I don't have a clue but it would be interesting to find out
What about Wilshire? I can't believe that anyone here could possibly disagree that Cork or Ward-Prowse could do a better job. I think he's about 0% on pass completion.
Prff I'm pretty sure neither Delph or Wilshire have given it away as much as Sterling. Some of you guys see what you want to.
