For me personally, swearing takes up about 75% of my daily speech so couldn't give a flying ****ing **** as to whether any prick on here tends to be an abusive ****

BUT there are those that dislike it and so in all seriousness I do think we should be fair and keep to the rules, we need/ want to attract new posters, not scare 'em off!

Just out of interest, every time I log in, I've noticed the swearing filter is always on, is there anyway I can permanently turn it off or does it just reset to "on" everytime I log off and log back in?

Try going to control panel > General settings and change it(second from bottom) then use the save changes at the very bottom.
