Hmmmm......money goes to money eh? Swansea hit the jackpot yesterday with the new television deal. Badly need Slade to lead us back to where we belong!
That guaranteed £99 mil. has got to concentrate your boards and owners mind . Do you think Slade will see the rest of the season at yours ?
I didn't want to post on this topic but I do feel I need to now after some of the posts on here. Yes Swansea is looking run down when compared with Cardiff but the main reason is Welsh Assembly investment.. The Marina development in Swansea was funded by investment secured by the City Council the Cardiff Bay development was funded by the Welsh Assembly. £75 million was wasted by the Welsh Assembly buying Cardiff Airport. Recently multi million pounds was spent by the Welsh Assembly buying up development land in Cardiff to encourage forther businesses to locate there. The Cardiff area has also been given development status by the Government to attract further inward investment. So myself and all other tax payers in Wales are funding Cardiff's development and growth. As far as the Welsh Assembly is concerned, as regards investment, the rest of Wales can go hang and I wish I had never voted for it. One further example of how Cardiff is fleecing the rest of Wales. Some years ago all the councils in Wales put money into a central fund to upgrade housing. At the time Swansea had some of the worst council housing in the country and put in £1.9 million into the fund, Cardiff did not put a penny in but took £2.3 million out. So the citizens of Swansea directly funded Cardiff development.. .
u wanna live in the valleys my son, that'll shock you I tell thee>>>>>>>>>what ew moaning about anyway>>>>>your lagoon will keep ew happy and it will also give the investment firms much needed revenue when it starts kicking out its power,.........well you didn't think it was for the benefit of Swansea and its residents did ew.
No...apparantly the winky wannky bird has been seen flying over the great city of Cardiff, to bring some much needed luck Aber!
