Watching Ralph giving a pep talk, can’t remember if it was at the start of the ET, or after the first 15 minutes, and spotted Adam Armstrong on the outskirts of the group, behind the substitutes and behind Ralph’s right shoulder and I thought “he’s not part of that group”.
Nice to know someone appreciated it It seems to have scared a few It’s difficult to put into words how much Shane changed a bit of a **** game into an utter utter joy And Mrs S is a BIG ABBA fan
I once got to the final of a competition and ended up on the St Marys pitch singing an ode to Fabrice Fernandez to the tune of ABBAs Fernando You’d have liked that too (Edited to remove all the mistakes now)
Armstrong was trying to operate off the shoulder of the last man, but as it was another Saints player in a huddle he didn't really get the spacing right.
Yeah he was very disappointing today, and the last few games he’s been given a chance to be honest. Was hoping for more from him when we signed him.. maybe he will develop though
At the risk of being a bit negative, it remains entirely unclear to me what Armstrong is watching much of the time. For a player whose chief attribute should be his pace and movement, he doesn't use that pace and movement to great effect.
Wasn't able to follow the match today but breathed a sigh of relief at the end. I don't care who the opposition are, in an FA Cup match, it's always a less certain outcome especially at this early stage. So I'm with you, well done lads!!
Didn’t notice that but from my observation of him today I thought he was disappointing. I know he wasn’t playing as an out and out striker but I thought that against lower league opposition he would shine.
I saw him shouting Gimmie, Gimmie,Gimme before he was passed to. I thought Knowing Me Knowing You he will miss it. I could see the tie Slipping Through My Fingers, in the end we get some extra Money Money Money for getting through.
