I think we need to get the ball to Saito earlier, so that he has space to run at players. Smyth unable to make runs himself because of his defensive duties.
Looked at the replays again. The red carded player blatantly dives in the box and claims a penalty. That was deserving of a yellow, imo. Then Cook has a proper go at him for it and he retaliates. They should be booing their own player.
Wasted free kick...... but Smyth should have played Kone in in the build up..... Still decent performance so far.....
Just move it side to side, stretch the play and another will come. The most likely thing to cost us this is our own ineptitude.

Got the Welsh commentary on and he got it spot in in my opinion, Cook invited it… but the swans lad retaliated, he’s a professional footballer and should have known not to rise to it, so a definite red. Could do with some calm play at the start of the second half and a second goal which really should kill the game off.
Excellent half, although Smyth has been typically Smyth. If Koki had the same oppertunities to play in Kone, it would be 0-3. Madsen again showing extreme quality!
Too much playing backwards. No urgency. Only Saito looking dangerous. Not won this by a long way yet.
Thought that was a controlled period of play, probing trying to create space.... that's what we need to do against 10 men....
