I also fail to see why people at 12-18 months behind the times on swansea. people talk about this side like they are still living the dream... they are struggling and have struggled since january.

they have it all to prove in other words.

So LFC need to work harder and be first to every ball... play it like its utd.... simple whack them for 6.

now west brom are for me struggling this season badly... really badly. Spurs are only putting it together and honestly swansea did ok but were not great there. Utd? well the dominated as moyes had 10 men behind the all then once RVP scored the flood gates opened.

LFC need to get at them and score early.

Rodgers: Sahko still a few weeks away, Toure should be fit for Monday, as should Sturridge, both will be assessed in the next 48 hours.

The boys got all the ingredients, powerful, quick, eye for goal and a like Downing, <whistle> can beat his man.
    Hope Moses does a Sturridge!

With all due respect to Chelsea, it's not a place for youngsters to develop. You're surrounded by massive stars which can be overwhelming but it's harder to displace those players as well. Not only that, the fans are constantly on your case.

LFC is a great platform for Moses and I think he'll do well.

Would you like a tissue Michael?

''I am surprised that only 48 hours after not being fit to play for England it is said that he is fit to play against us,'' said Laudrup.

''I thought there were rules about that, not playing for your country and then playing three or four days later.

''But I hope he plays because I want to play against the best players.''

Couldn't it go both ways as didn't rooney not play for the club due to "injury" but then showed up for England before the head wound?

Three or four days later? England played on Tuesday, and we play on Monday next week <doh> It was England's medical team that assessed him!

    Good point well made

    Rodgers had this to say

"He was obviously disappointed to miss out on the England games. He wanted to play for England and I felt sorry for him," said Rodgers.

"He came here first and foremost to do as well as he could for Livepool knowing if he did well his aim was to be England striker.

"The medical experts made the decision, not Daniel Sturridge.

"He left the Manchester United game (on September 1) injured and went away and the medical staff at England deemed him not quite fit enough for the first game and they were perfectly happy he was not going to play.

"He returned and there was a slight improvement but Roy (Hodgson) and his staff have to make a decision if he's going to be available (for the second match in Ukraine) and at that stage he wasn't.

"But by the time we play on Monday it will be nearly two weeks and for a grade one strain, experts who know better than I do say it is perfectly reasonable to be back playing in that timescale.

"But he should not be held up, if he does play on Monday, as being someone who has turned down his country because that is not the case at all.

"It will have been nearly a week (since England's second game) and with the injury he had it gives him a chance to play.

"If it was a Saturday game he may well have struggled but that extra bit of time gives him a chance and I would suspect he will hopefully be fit, although he won't be 100 per cent fit."

I cant see either team winning this by only scoring one goal. I predict a goal fest and a nice game of football to watch for the neutrals.
