I've had enough. For all the last ten years where have we got to. We are still a top half of the championship team but instead of being 10 million in debt we are £242 million in debt, We don't have a reserve team that is developing any young players, we seem to have a medical team which doesn't seem to practice preventive policies, we consistently start slowly in games. We have managed not to find a successful manager in seventeen appointments ( surely some sort of record). We sign so many crap players. Trouble is that the people in senior managerial positions are alpha males and cannot look at themselves and consider the possibility that they might be doing something wrong that contributes to these failings. Happy new year to everyone!!
I'm off now to se the final episode of Riptide on channel 5. Much more interesting than this load of rubbish. Same old, same old.
It’s the debt that bothers me. It’s kind of a ‘**** or bust’ situation. Maybe, given the massive revenue in the Premiership, that sort of debt is sustainable. But it is not sustainable for a Championship side. And I fear we are clearly no more than that.
Well, there will come a time when the word ‘administration’ is going to start being mooted, if there is an upturn I can’t see coming.
