BT Sport, what a bunch of bias commentators, Michael Owen was a knob. As mentioned they were quick to highlight the hand ball which never was, Ash and stood his ground when the ball came over, and the Newcastle lad fell over like a big jessie!!! The tackle on Hernandez was a straight red in my opinion.
Perhaps, in mitigation to the MOTD pundits, this was their busiest day of the season so far with 9 games in the same evening and the show going on air about 45 minutes after all the games finished (in 2 cases, 30 minutes). There's no way they can watch all the action in that time from every game, so perhaps they are only commenting on the highlights they were shown. The 'highlights' tends to mean goals, near-misses and sending offs. By definition, the 66% possession we had and slick inter-passing will not be shown. But I tend to agree with previous comments; the ex-pro pundits are a waste of space and I also tend to fast-forward through their predictable offerings. Geordie Whale Song -
Even if you are the main game on MOD they only show the best bits in their opinion and thats why unless you were at the game or in some respects watching live on the internet you dont get the full view of the game..
