It's not my fault Sunderland are crap and need bent refs to win football games <laugh>

Not saying we're any better because we have been very poor this season, but if you honestly think you won fair and square, you are one deluded Mackem.

Typical really. Could have done with it being overturned on the pitch. Having it overturned after the game is hardly any consolation to us - just another reason to bring up the television replay debate. Fourth officials and/or a TMO have to be given the right to have real time conversations with referees on the pitch. No stopping the game, just watching the replays real time and talking to the ref real time - both offside goals and the red card would have been disallowed and Sunderland would have inevitably lost... (yes, I am fishing for reactions) :emoticon-0105-wink:

You Taffys really are pathetic aren't you.
Crying like little babies because yous got stuffed on your home turf.
Like us yous have been ****e all season and its going to be more than dodgy refs that cause your impending relegation.
We're bringing players in and well have Kaboul back soon so if we're only one place above you's come May I'll be disappointed!

Another question raised by Naughton's red card overturning - if Naughton's red card being overturned proves that his challenge was legal and innocent, then how come the game can't now vindicate M'Vila and retrospectively ban him for clearly conning a referee into making a bad decision? If cheats like him were retrospectively banned (and I include our previous con-master, Chico Flores, in this statement - so we haven't been squeaky clean ourselves), it would certainly stop this type of behaviour fast.

This game went beyond a bad call or two , it should be investigated to tell you the truth , coincidence is one thing , what happened in this game is another.. The repercussions toward our team going past this game in the position we find ourselves is unforgivable ..........from added pressure all the way to detoriation of confidence because of fools for officials .

Last time I checked, 1 point or 10, still above you. Can you dispute this? Unfortunate really...you can't. I bet you say something clever like "not for long", or "wait until the end of the season". All speculation. We're above you and you hate it, don't you :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Go on, I dare you, bite again. Let it all out, son.

    Bite<laugh>.
You have some neck using the word 'Bite', after the meltdown from your cronies on this thread.
Trust me mate I'm far from biting point. In fact I'm the complete opposite. Our victory against the 2nd worst team in the league on Wed night feels so much better reading all these posts<laugh>.

Ps. Enjoy your 1 point cushion while it lasts<cheers>

:emoticon-0102-bigsm Likewise, I'll just say this - enjoy being within 1 point of us while it lasts. :emoticon-0105-wink: Tbh, if neither of us go down, I don't really care about or have any ill feeling towards the Mackems - it was a fiesty game and I think, honestly, when you aren't being a macho-man on Not606 you probably do admit that Defoe was offside twice and the red card was lucky for you - but if you can't admit on here to save your rep, fair. I'd do the same.

Enjoy the rest of the season and, as I say, if both of us stay up (a more than likely scenario in truth) then I guess nobody will really care. If you go down and we don't, I'll no doubt hunt you down and give you stick, I'd expect nothing less from you if the opposite happens. That's football. Come what May...quite literally.

Hmmmm a distinct possibility... But to be fair, if this season proves anything so far, it's that anything can happen. It's squeaky bum time for all involved. Beat Watford on Monday and we can start to look forward.
