    Premier League
    Wed, 13 Jan, 19:45
    Liberty Stadium

Swansea in 17th place in the Premier League face 19th placed Sunderland in a "6 pointer" at the Liberty Stadium.

A win for the home team would take them 7 points clear of their opponents, whilst a Sunderland victory would leave them just 1 point adrift of the Swans.

Arguably, this is Swansea's most important home match in the PL since promotion. A victory would be a huge fillip for the Swans and hopefully will be the springboard for climbing the table, whilst defeat would see the Swans well and truly in a desperate battle to avoid relegation.

I think the Swans will rise to the occasion and run out winners by 3-1 <cheers>

    Good evening chaps,

This is another massive game for us that we cannot lose, just like the Villa game, we had to win and we did. Next is you who we can't lose against, we would take a draw now, but hopefully try to nick one on the counter (yes, we have speed in the team now!). Then we have Bournemouth at home later in the month and that's a game we must also win. Our last two games the players have looked really up for it and are starting to show a lot more heart now. We know you are the favourites, no doubt about that. I just hope we can keep it tight at the back, and take advantage of your weak attack (at the moment) and try grab one or two ourselves through Defoe or Borini, who have both been scoring lately.

I think this will be a tight game and only one goal will decide it.

Yep - it's a game both must win, and neither must lose! Hopefully, home advantage will count in our favour! <cheers>

A must win game as no other result will help and we must put a string of wins together after that which is something that will be a first for us this season. Doubtfull under the current situation....

Forget cautious football, we should throw the kitchen sink at them. Barrow to be let loose from the start <ok>

There's a long way to go yet, trust me, we are experienced at this. We have come back from bigger points gaps than this and with less than half of the games what's left. A draw wouldn't be the worst result for you as it keeps you in touch with everyone. A defeat would do massive damage, mentally.

Anyways, yeah if I was you, this is a fixture I would be expecting to win.

We can't even think about a defeat, it's that bad!

I was thinking the same Matt. Neither Ayew or Gomis are speed merchants.....

We would have more of a chance if Curtis himself was to play the strikers role......<laugh>

They could be up against Brown who is 36 and O'Shea who is 34 (I think). That's who it was against Villa.

We are starting to show some form, with Barrow and Siggy looking good, even Ki is confident as is Fab, so I'm going with a 2-1 home win, we were unlucky at Citeh and United, lets hope we have moved on from hitting the woodwork, Britton must be in the midfield, and Shelvey no where near the starting line up.............<ok>

PS Must keep an eye on Borini, he's sneaky around the box.
