So, Mancini went with 5 in the midflield and realised he had it wrong after a half hour. By that point, Mario 'I can score from halfway line' Balotelli and a few others lost any flow they had. We played as we do every single week at home and Man City had no answer. I obviously don't know for sure, but I would say Man City have too many egotistical players and a manager who doesn't do his homework. Granted, it was only one nil, but if we had ONE 30 million pound player, it would have been a lot worse. I said several times throughout the game, and I still stand by it, 'that was a footballing lesson'. Even if they had scored a couple of wonder goals, I still think it was a footballing lesson in hard work, teamwork, movement and pressing intelligently.

Big teams can fall in to the trap that because they have such top class players, they don't need to work as hard, but today proves you can't rely on your big players to win you games every week. These are the games that you shouldn't be losing if you're going for the title, and that's why they will slip away at the end of the season. We wanted these points way more than Man City and that's why we won. If you don't have that, you will not win titles

Well said Leeeon. And it looks like Rogers did his homework after watching city lose in the week and a massive team effort from the swans won through.
Its strange how i feel confident when we play the so called top teams in the prem and we do step up to the task but when we play teams around us its more worrying ?.
If we could get to a cup final against any of the big name teams i would fancy us with more confidence than i probably should have !!

    No complaints
    Best team won without question
Far too often we come up against teams who simply want it more, for Swansea see Sunderland or Everton,we never seem to learn.Didnt like the set up from the off and I just thought we were outcoached by Rogers and outbattled by Swansea
Had a good night out last night, friendly bunch non of the balloons we came up against when we were in Cardiff a few years ago
Bloody long journey home when you lose though
    Good luck for the remainder
    You're Poznan was ****

i was awake (just, had to get up for work 3 hrs later), thought the goal they scored (or didnt score) was going to count, the last 15 i was hoping, praying and trying not to wake the other members of the house up. y could we not score with an empty net at the death, tiredness i say, what a victory

mate if i was on the same timezone the tinnies would have been sunk, XXXX brewery would be working overtime

Brilliant game! I was watching it in Pompey. Needless to say that myself and neveroffside must be the proudest jacks in Hampshire!! We didn't play our of our skin we just played as we always do. Although I suppose it's fair to say that we always play out of our skin. I hope Man City win the title as I can't stand Manure. I thought Sinclair played one of his better games this season just a shame about the penalty and the miss on open goal from halfway. I've got a feeling Pratley would have scored that (after a similar goal against Forest last season). I'm sure it was down to tiredness though or he rushed it a little bit. I'm sure he's just sh**ed out now that Helen is living with him. Brilliant win though but we've got to keep it up next week against Fulham which will possibly be an even harder game. Let's hope that lad of theirs doesn't score 5 goals against us! I'd have loved to have had Augustien fit for next weeks game.
