A HUGE well done to the Swans after a great display. What a result! And what about Luke Moore? He looked class when he came on, held the ball up well and scored a great goal from an equally great cross by Routledge.

I have some more comments to make, not all good and a trifle picky, which might seem churlish after such a fabulous result. They can wait for now. I will content myself by saying thank you and well done to Brendan and the lads and take some time to savour this famous win. Might it be the game that keeps us in the Premier League? Can't wait for MOTD 2 tonight even though I have already watched the game. Whoopee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not happy with that. Said I wasn't confident about that game.

Nobody performed. As good as Swansea were, we were crap. We bring it upon ourselves. That was a game we should have won, Swansea were good but still nowhere near as good as we can be.

I never want to see Barry and De Jong on the same pitch together again unless we are playing away in Europe against very tough opposition.

    Aguero, Nasri, Silva...all useless today.

Savic was ok for most of the game, but then one ****ing mistake, one, and we've lost. The guy is a liability.

    Need to calm down...

Wow. Fair play, Norway, your faith in Moore is proving me wrong. Lucky for us the manager agrees with you! Having said that I think Rodgers was happy with the 0-0 when he came on, but who cares?

Man City can have no complaints. We smothered them all over the pitch and whereas they still oozed class they struggled to test Vorm. An outstanding display, despite that not at our best. Allen still giving the ball away too much for my liking but I'm being picky.

Great day for us and secures our place in the top flight imo.

An unsure with each other defense was Man City's downfall IMO , they'll be a hungry bunch from here on in for anyone who plays them .

Routledge .... very tidy game today - a tad rusty in front of net, but lovely cross to pick out Moore for the winner. What is he doing on the bench - should be him and Dyer on the wings.

Caulker and Ash are a terrific pair at the back. What a talent that Caulker is, not 20 yet. And he is going to score a couple from corners before the season is over. The last few weeks he has been so close.

    Really? Why didn't you then?

If it were at the Etihad, it would have been a game you should have won. But it wasn't. Our home form is awesome and not one team can come here and say they should have won. We were brilliant today, you were poor, so no way should you have won the game.

You 'should have won' because we are just little old Swansea. No!! (Harry enfield voice). Thankfully the game isn't as simple as that.

Funny how fans of teams we play well against give us the old 'we were poor' routine every time. You weren't allowed to play. We harassed and harried you every step of the way and thoroughly deserved the win.

Err, the Swans gave u boys a footballing lesson today. You need to have a good look at your coaching staff. Playing hoofball ain't going to win you any European titles.

They thought they only had to turn up , sorry thats not how it works. More commited to the cause than your lot ,overall we deserved the points and could have been by a bigger margin.

I never said you didn't deserve to win. I said you played very well.

Our coaching staff are fine, we've been top for months before today one poor performance doesn't mean anything. Say what you like, a team including players like Silva, Aguero, Yaya etc. can beat that Swansea side if they play as well as they can do. Today it didn't happen.

No footballing lessons were given in a 1-0 win.
