Like when after being 1-0 up v Liverpool, we then found ourself 2-1 down, yet came back to get a point. Or when we were 2-0 down v Stoke, yet came back 3-2, only to be denied by an absolutely shocking decision to award them a last minute penalty. Yes, we never had the fight to come back under ML. #LAUDRUPOUT
Not forgetting the cracking 3-2 loss, we had against Man City at home in January, or the fact that even Man City fans were saying we were the best team (apart from Bayern Munich) to visit the Etihad this season, and how the 3-0 score line was not a fair result. Or how we beat Man Utd on their own patch 2-1, or that we hammered a pretty inform Newcastle 3-0 on our patch. But yes your right, our team under ML had no fight whatsoever, we had lost our game style. #LAUDRUPOUT
We also look tired now, in a number of games whereas before we tended to look the stronger in the second half. I agree that it'll take a bit longer than 2/3 weeks to get the fitness levels up to where they should be if that is then case .
Our great display was, as usual, ignored. Two things - I was doing other things when MOTD 2 was on so I might have missed JdG's free kick. Did they show it? Secondly, did they show the incident when Mignolet sprawled on the edge of the box and handled the ball outside the area? My live stream showed slo-mo replays and the commentators agreed it was a foul. A free kick there MIGHT have got us a goal - in any event it was worth showing again. Fat chance! Would they want to rain on Liverpool's parade? Biased coverage AGAIN from the BBC.
MOD will always be bias towards the big clubs as without the big clubs the BBC would have difficulty of selling the matches abroad..thats how its always been and thats why if you have not seen the whole match then you wont get the full facts of how each side played...
I thought Sky and BT had the selling rights for selling the PL not the BBC , us licence payer rightly wouldn't / shouldn't compete with those two when it comes to buying the rights to broadcast
Absolutely correct. Dai talking out of his arse again...he sounds like an authority on the subject though doesn't he.
I went back today to look at some of the match reports of the game and some of the praise from Liverpool fans in the comments section was pleasing to see. "Apologies to Swansea, who were ****ing excellent today and by far the best away team at Anfield this season. Hope they stay up and, playing like that, they definitely will."
Why don't you come back and explain how that works then please ,How much does the BBC pay and what big part does it play . Without the abuse .
must be honest - one of the things i have noticed so far under Monk is that the team finally seem able to put in two good half performances - not one poor half, and one good half like under Laudrup. I constantly highlighted this under Laudrup - and it cost us soo many times. I also noticed how much more intensity we have - closing down players in their own half, and rushing the oppoisition into making mistakes, and giving back posession. I dont like the way Laudrup has been sacked - but positive signs so far under Monk - I certainly have more confidence we can stay up now - but proof is in the results against the teams in and around us. Hopefully three points against palace will see us on our way to safety!
I absolutely loved the way laudrup was sacked. It was fair and well justified to someone who could not be bothered to do his job properly or take care of his players......he would rather screw us for millions while earning more money doing outside interests for his own ego. He let the club run down badly and should have put the club first before other interests....Am i chuffed....to bloody right i am...im over the moon...
