Oh and Hernandez still needs to grow some balls. Their lad headed it in to Gomis unchallenged, should have been 50-50 but Hernandez bottled it cos he might have got bumped.
Some dickhead earlier was banging on about how it was offside and assured me of that fact because he's a 'referee'. Bruce and Brady ****ed up and made a deliberate attempt to head it, so Gomis couldn't have been offside.
A lot of the time now those are given offside. I ****ing hate that rule personally so I agree with you, but there's definitely a huge grey area. I wish Bruce would stop blaming refs when we're **** though. Sometimes it is the ref but when we go away and have one shot on target all game he shouldn't be blaming anyone else. It was the same at Stoke.
The referees in the Premier League are generally ****e but for Bruce to blame the ref today is pathetic. He should blame his crap goalkeeper, his ill-disciplined midfielder and his son and wingback for not communicating properly.
Bingo we have a winner I came away from the Sunderland game totally gutted coz that's when effectively sealed our fate Sunderland where shocking and we couldn't take advantage Can't wait to see the silly ****ing pyramid faced twats business plan for this The arse has brought this upon himself
For once I have little positive thoughts about today's performance or indeed the bickering on this thread. We all need to pull together and show some unity for the rest of the season. I still think that we will get five or six points from the remaining games, but we sure as hell need to cut out those defensive errors.
He can defend Meyler all he wants but that challenge was awful. Studs up, reckless, dangerous and Naughton's very lucky his leg isn't broken.
Can't be bothered reading all the usual responses to a disappointing result like this but the fact is all the sendings off this season are proving critical now, add Meyler to Ramirez and Huddlestone, Chester, god knows who else I forgot
No worse than Ireland and Figueroa in the same gaa me but wee look so laboured it's like watching league 1 at times To a neutral you would have us a banker for relegation and I'd totally agree We lack passion and fight and that comes from the top down Sorry my mistake the silly ****s at the top have got passion for a name change but totally disregard the goings on below them PS what do you reckon happy and cut the bullshit for once in your life ????
I don't think the way we play has **** all to do with the owners. If you do, you're deluded. We might revere or whatever the players but they're just doing what they love for **** loads of money. Some put everything in every game, like Bruce Jnr, others don't, like Ramirez. On today's game I'd say we were made to look crap by a good team and a ref that gave us **** all. Last game we looked like underdogs but looked capable of winning. We need more performances like we put in at Chelsea. Oh, I thought it was a yellow today, not a red, zero intent, clumsy but went for and got the ball.
Oops forgot to add, **** off with the bullshit accusations, not everyone thinks like you, sorry if that's a revelation. I also like knowing ALL the facts before naming my own mind up. I am not a sheep.
Very disappointing performance today after last weeks impressive losing effort against Chelsea. The front two were totally ineffective and N'Doye's petulance and lack of effort were a complete reversal of his fully committed attitude in previous games. Amazing. How much longer is McGregor going to keep his starting place when every team in the League has sussed out his inability to deal with long shots. Another fairly harmless 25-yarder from Shelvey was gifted to Ki's feet after we had looked good in the first 15 minutes before Ramirez went off. Time for a change! Diame is clearly not fit. Meyler and Huddlestone are carded out. Ramirez is injured. Our MF is decimated. Its hard to see where the next points are going to come from given our remaining fixtures. Burnley are hard to beat, QPR have started scoring. Leicester, Sunderland, and Villa look vulnerable but we've wasted critical points against the first two. Its going to be a nail biting month ahead.
Can't beleive some the amber tinted glasses that are being worn on this thread. Not sending off? A soft red? Give over. It could have ended the lad's career. The evidence is damning please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Are you ****ing ******ed? it's not expertise. You came out with a ****ing moronic comment in regards to the type of people who may use an IP blocker. now you're trying to dig Yourself out of it. stfu and run along why don't you watch this video on your way out you might learn a few things
Your front two were ineffective because the midfield wasn't passing to them. Fair play to both of them, they were making good runs and were screaming in frustration as time and time again the midfield just passed the ball sideways.
Absolutely right. The build up was again so pedestrian it gave plenty of time for the Swansea players to get back into defensive shape. Still doesn't excuse our front two being unwilling to close down the defenders.
Can someone explain this please, what is the difference between this and the goal yesterday? Go to page 24 http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/afdeveloping/refereeing/law_11_offside_en_47383.pdf
