Contrary to opinion amongst most Saints fans, I think it should be a decision between whether to pick Wanyama or Schneiderlin at the moment and to keep Corks place in the team. I seem to find when we play Morgan and Vic the gap between defence and attack is too great and by having Cork in the team he seems to offer more of a link. It'd be great to try and intergrate all 3, but Poch seems a little reluctant.

I'd go
-------------Boruc------------
Shaw--Fonte--Lovren--Clyne
---------Cork-Wanyama---
-------------Lallana-------------
-Gallagher---Lambert----Davis

Appearances for Mcqueen, Reed and JWP off the bench please :)

I don't think MP will tinker much in the last two gaomes. probably moreso Swans rather than Manu but if there's one experiment I'd like to see it would be trying to get Morgan, Jack & Vic to play together. If MP can get it working, it would at least be a really great midfield "plan B".

Time to blood the youngsters. Keep Adam, rickie and Shaw (to give them the best chance of going to the WC) but give some of the nippers a chance to show what they can do.

Where are these people sitting. All I ever hear is cheers when Guly comes on. Maybe I'm hearing irony!?

To be fair there has been a lot of stick over the last two seasons but I think everyone realises he is probably in his last season with us now (contract up in June I think) so this sort of ironic love affair has developed between him and the crowd. Nice to see and hear. Football fans aren't all bad are they!

15:00 Swansea v Southampton = REFEREE :- Anthony Taylor. Assistants :- L Betts & J Collin. 4th Official :- C Breakspear.

Maybe we could give this defender a run-out, I heard he used to be a bit good...?

Photo is of Mauricio, who played in tonight's staff match at St. Mary's. Jaidi, Jimenez etc. all also played.

Jose mentioned in his post match interview that it was good to have Big Vic in the side as he gives better protection to him & Lovren

To be honest, I think it is a bit of an insult to sing 'He's off to Brazil' and 'He's going home' when we all know that his contract is nearly up. Not much of a 'love in' in my view.

Yipee! The good news and the bad news is ......my Swansea supporting mates have come up trumps and have got two extra tickets so the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov and I shall be at the game but the bad news is we have to pay full price and we will be sat in with the Jacks so we shall have to sit on our hands and be very polite.

Win, lose or draw we shall have a great weekend.

Mumbles here we come. Get making that smashing ice cream of yours Joe. Bake the welsh cakes Mrs Christie and get some laverbread in for breakfast.

I shall be playing my Dylan Thomas recording of Under Milk Wood and listening to my Treorchy Male voice Choir tapes all week so that I am in the mood for the match.

<laugh> That Joe's Ice Cream takes some beating, My oldest son plays for Mumbles 1st team, and we get Joe's Ice Cream every Saturday after the game!.................<cheers>
