I might be wrong, but you might be missing my point. I'm defending Monk & the reasons why there sometimes hasn't been 90 minutes consistency. I think the change overall has been for the better under Monk & I'm talking about last season too. Even the players' that are no longer with us, ie Pablo, JDG were better under him. Under Laudrup, don't think it was always a second half thing as well. There were games when we never got out of the starting blocks too!! So I actually don't think the issues are the same... One thing I noticed in both the Man U & West Brom's games, was the work we did when we didn't have the ball, something that again, wasn't the same under Laudrup. So Monk's maybe putting a bit more 'steel' in us..
