Very very poor today, stray passes, wasted chances and no luck whatsoever...Everton going to get another one or two if we keep defending like we are at the minute also

Does McEachran have a sprint gear? He has got to be the slowest 19 year old I have ever seen.

No we're not Cracker. There is nothing wrong with being beat providing everybody shows up. Today we were as lethargic as we were sharp last week.

Everton to their credit did wHat they had to do to win, no more no less.

Thought we got off very lightly,Everton could have had 4 or 5 that might have been a true reflection of the game. I've never seen us pass the ball so poorly, need to pull our fingers out.

Done a number on us, fair play to Moyes, he got it right, and pressed high up, and Rodgers didn't have an answer all game, we were lucky not to lose by 4 or 5! They deserve to go above us..................

Well played, Everton. Thoroughly deserved it. As for us, appalling doesn't even begin to describe it. No passion, no movement, no skill and certainly none of the bravery on the ball that Brendan has been chuntering on about. Everton had so much time and space you would believe that they were playing nine men - as a collective performance on our part, I suppose they were.

I can't find a good word to say about any of our players except for Vorm, who must have thought that the rest of them had gone to a party to celebrate staying up. I have to go out now so don't have the time to post what I want to. I will in due course and none of it will be good. Quite frankly this was a disgrace and I hope that Brendan tells the lot of them exactly how bad they were. They stunk the place out.

The boys have been riding a wave of emotion of late , after this setback it's time to paddle out & catch a new wave . Although it's a bit hard sometimes , try not to be to harsh on the team as they deserve better !

Agree Ivor...... but credit to Everton who gave us no time on the ball.

I did say Moyes was at the Liberty recently and it showed.

Better team on the day won, not much more to say.

    Pienaar and Baines were brilliant.

No arguments from me, Everton were soooooo much better than us, it was a thoroughly deserved win. Just waiting for a call from a mate of mine, sod's law he'll turn up at the house in his Everton shirt.

Yes, Everton were outstanding today deserved the win, thats the most comprehensive beating i've seen us take this season. Full credit must go to Moyes and his players who will work for their manager every single game, rodgers came unstuck at goodison and has learnt nothing about these kind of teams since. Norwich also showed the way and its a concern that rodgers didnt know how to combat a high pressing team, we all knew how Everton were going to play, the flip side is of course that rodgers doesn't have a bench of plan B players what he has is more of the same.

When Everton got stuck into us in the first 5 mins putting us out of our rythem i had a feeling we wouldn't fancy meeting them in a battle, Everton were good enough to not even get physical and play dirty and i respect them for that, they have everything in their locker ,they can play great football, they work hard they can play rough and play it dirty if they have to, i can see why moyes is so highly rated, you often see him at games and it shows in his prep.

The only suprise is that Everton arnt higher in the league and pushing for champions league again, i think they are 2-3 players away from being a great team.
Swansea need to learn from this, it has all the signs of the template that will be used by many against us next season, of course not all will have the personall to carry it out and many have tried to use this tactic against us in the past, but when a team gets it right they totally shut us out.

I dont want to say that we wern't 100% today because thats unfair on Everton, i think our boys didnt feel the need to compete like they have in the last few weeks, i can forgive them for that but rodgers should be able to pick up on these kinds of things in training and pick a fresh team to counter any complacency <ok>

Everton certainly did a number on us and fully deserved their victory - we were lucky, in some respects, that it was only 0-2.
If the lads had started to believe their own press, then perhaps today will be a wake-up call.
That said, 9 pts out of a possible 12 pts in March is a good return.

Just got home from the game and very disappointed.

Thought we were good in the first half, but the second half was one of the most one sided affairs I have witnessed at the Liberty. As soon as the free kick was given, I said to my missus it was going in. The 2nd goal was pathetic. Josh Mch.....(Whatever) just watched as the Everton player dispossesed him and then ran off. He may have a bright future, but he's CCC at best at the moment.

After the last 3 games, I think we were deserved a break, so can't blame the lads really, they've given their all recently.

Also saw Nathan Dyer after the game in his Porsche, nice guy.

I think that's excessively harsh comments Ivor. We weren't appalling and I wouldn't say Everton had a lot of time and space either. Neither was it a disgrace. We were just beaten by a better team on the day who got their tactics spot on. Cut the team some slack - they can't perform brilliantly all the time.
