I'm looking forward to the lad coming here, if he's half as good as Borini, that will do, for me!.............. please log in to view this image
well look after him aright....rember a young lad from west ham, called lampard,we looked after him ok,,apparently he went on to have a half decent career lol
i'm surprised he isnt going to bolton what with their track record of wilshere and sturridge, as well as the fact it could have been used as a sweetener to the cahill deal...
I wouldn't mind either, but we've built up a great relationship with Swansea over the past few years and as said many a time, he suits their style of football more than Boltons!
Let's put it this way... We are frustrated that he's not getting any game time with us because we feel he could make a difference and benefit from the experience of game minutes... He is class, and as long as he gets played by Rogers you'll see what the fuss is about
This is a perfect elevation to Josh's developement! He's a star in the making and I would love to see him turn on the magic at Swansea with Brendan! If he does I know the condition will be he cant play against us!
I like the sound of this regarding McEachran, coming from you Blues boys, he should fit in well with our total football philosophy, hope Rodgers pulls this off now, it don't come any better than the fans recomendations!................... please log in to view this image
We were mate, obviously the link stopped when they reached the PL but I'm sure we'll continue to do some shrewd business.
That's all you do need. Your manager is doing a great job , he's got all his squad playing at the top of their ability. Our manager is trying to achieve the same result, but is dealing with some embedded egos and cliques. You play a lovely game, and that's why so many Chelsea boys are telling you Josh will do the business with you. He's that rare footballer, not just skilful, but also thoughtful. Best of luck on all counts.
Don't want the big chequebook ta! This is now a weird one for me. I hope that if he does come he gets a lot of games because if he has that much potential it'd be a shame for him to simply change which bench he's sitting on! The Swans fan in me says "Sign him up, more players the better!" but the neutral fan inside me says he may be better off going somewhere where he'd play every game. I guess the crux is style vs appearances. He may get more games somewhere else, but if that somewhere else were Stoke, for example, I'm not sure you'd want the next big thing going there! Then again, if we're going to try and make a fist of the FA Cup, we are, as most clubs are, one or two injuries short of needing as many players as we can get. He seems like the perfect type of player for us, and he's young enough to be chomping at the bit for starts in the PL so this has the makings of a very good deal for all concerned.
On a serious note, did Anelka bugger off to play football on Mars for silly money yet? If not, can we borrow him?
