    now the cavalier rings a bell but i cant think where, i cant rememer any club opposit David Evans to be honest with you ponty, but the name cavalier do seem to be somewhere in my past, i think the only cavalier i know was in plymouth during my time in the royal navy...

    Can't remember any club called that in Swansea, but only a wee youngster though lol

    Remember The Cavalier Club, entrance was in between BHS and not suer the shop on the corner or Oxford Street, and it was above that shop.

    Only ever went there once.

    I remember the Cavalier. Went there once, midweek. Bit of a dump. Then went for an egg curry (yes, an egg curry) in an Indian resturant which was located in a row of buildings where the car park by The Pullman is now.

    Cavaliers/cavs was indeed in the side of bhs. Small club upstairs and small squares made mirrored wall behind bar a tough crowd had good times there always loads of townhill mates in there on weekends and remember Kenny the doorman ? he owns a big garage i use now .

    happy to report The Clarence is up and running again after closing for a refit and is doing well

    Was there a pub on the corner opp C+A and Quadrant entrance - now Ann Summers??
