Yeah I agree... I was mainly taking issue with whoever it was saying "Why would we want any Swansea players when they finished below us?" as it's probably the most stupid thing I've ever read on a football forum.

How little you know my team, I watch them every game you see them on motd for a few minutes on a Saturday night. I would rate a few players above williams in our team.

It's four and a half seasons you ****ing dolt.

Reading clearly (and basic English given the example above) not a strong point either, as well as your piss poor maths.

There are obviously stupid posts on every board. People on your's posted about getting Jose or Guardiola this summer....

However, asking "Why would we want any Swansea players when they finished below us?" is as stupid as a comment gets.

    Would I?

I live in Swansea and have been plenty of games over the last few seasons. Swansea have some great players but the one I think could step up to another level is Williams. Care to mention the others? I'd say Dyer is also possibly capable.

And by the way, much as this pains me to say, Liverpool ARE another level up from Swansea. Charlie Adam looked great at Blackpool, he's **** at Liverpool.

Sterling can't go on loan until he's 18, which is in December. So it may be a January window move.

It's my opinion, he's not a great player. I don't remember talking about Lavezzi at all. You also avoided the question, would you have Jelavic at Utd? If yes fair enough, if no don't go putting him forward for us as we are begging. The last striker we bought is a lot better than Jelavic.

And like I said there is a banter thread as this is turning into a Liverpool v Man Utd thread.

It wasn't a joke question. He's got a good record playing for a team who don't create as many chances as you. He scores all types of goals, he's a good striker in my opinion. Centre foward isn't really our biggest priority (like yours), however I'd have taken him at United for £7 million.

Fair enough you've not mentioned Lavezzi, but people on here have, and are, mentioning the likes of Benzema and Lavezzi. You were linked with Jelavic, and had he joined you and had the same impact you wouldn't be complaining.

I didn't turn the thread into a Pool vs United discussion just asked a question.

There are likely to be clauses preventing you poaching our players, but if not you should know that every player has new long term contracts and you will have to buy them out, somehow I don't think Liverpool can afford those 3 from us, not after what you spent last season.

Yes Vorm, Allen and Dyer and maybe Sinclair, I watch them every game and Williams have made some right ones over the season, not having a go at him as he's been top class otherwise. Also they are all on long term contracts with high buy out clauses, if you want them prepare to pay hugely.

You are one arrogant one aren't you ? You can't afford our players as your budget won't stretch that far, and besides there is likely be a clause preventing you doing so. As I mentioned above all our players have large release clauses, you want them you pay through the nose, after any clause in place.

Siggy will sign for us regardless of rodgers.

Not sure he will & I don't mean he'll come to us necessarily but it was reported (I know I know) that he wanted assurances that Rodgers was staying before he agreed to stay so if he hasn't already signed.....

Why would Sigurdsson want to join a man who said he'd stay then didn't... I'd tell him to do one <ok>
