I know he's gone plastic , you don't have to repeat yourself lol. What remains is a chairman that can't be trusted to keep the best interest in the team seperate from personal grudges , and that will remain a problem that should be addressed . Only a fool would think Laudrup is coming back or post such a thing in a debate .
And only a fool would keep bleating on like you about Huw and Bony. You really need to get over it, for your own sake. Huw has done a tremendous job over the years so I don't see how you can think he doesn't have the best interests of the club at heart.
Over the years Huws done great , to bad he couldn't keep on track , repercussions for his personal agenda will ensue I fear, hope not but---
Breeze, can i ask you why do you feel it is a personal vendetta? I have been told and may i add there is no substance to it other than rumour. That hj was the only member of the board who wanted him to stay and the rest were the ones who wanted him out. Would HJ have the right to sack him without the sayso of a majority of the board. Just asking.
Breezy won't be happy unless Huw makes a signed statement to the press in front of witnesses. Ok, scrap that. Even that wouldn't make him happy.
The personal vendetta started with firing of Laudrup's agent when times were good .Followed by Huws whinging to the media about spending 12 million on LAUDRUPS signing , Bony. He wouldn't be whinging if he signed him himself would he .Players started coming back from injury , opponents started not to be top clubs , we were 3 wins and 3 losses in our last 6 games after playing an unlucky and improving West Ham team . Huw then dropped the hammer on Laudrup at the turn around point before Cardiff , all calculated trundles foot imo sir
If ML had a full uninjured team all season then we may well have been further up the table for most of the season and looking safe, and ML would have been safe too .But maybe without the players to do that unluckily for ML then HJ and the board could see he wasnt raising the players game enough to avoid relegation so took the gamble to sack him and try something different rather than risk being told we went out without a whimper later ? ML was a great appointment at the time and through the contacts he had and players he then brought in to attain our first proper cup and high position at end of last season, beating top teams, 2 current cup runs etc..He will always be remembered fondly, but as is the nature of the beast in footy change comes quick and ruthlessly if things are`nt going well in the powers that be`s eyes ! Speculating from what little info thats come from the club and seeing the game we play changing over the last year maybe ML went to HJ when injuries were taking thier toll and demanded a spending spree in Jan ? And when told we dont do things that way here he got the hump which gave HJ and the board the hump ? Which may have affected the players with talk of cliques and the brickgate incidents etc.. but now without distractions the players may have whiped the slate clean for the sake of the team, club and thier futures. Gary Monk as coach or manager what ever position he has formally been given would surely be a cheaper option for the board which im sure they prefer rather than rushing in a new manager strait away and having to throw money at him, as they will probably have to pay off ML soon. Where as Monk could prove to be another master stroke or if not it gives the club time to find the right replacement for ML, and hope to get us to the end of season safe and able to regroup and build on from there .If they do get a new manager then another one with good connections to get top players in here would be good .But if Monk works out well then it would add another chapter to the amazing 10 year story of our amazing club. The comprehensive second half slaying of our local rivals yesterday was fantastic and i loved Monks rocky celebration for the third goal just being himself instead of being a stiff like a lot of prem managers. And i could hear the sigh of relief from HJ and CaptainMorgan from the east stand. It could go either way from now till the end of the season now but one things for sure if yesterdays anything to go by we will not go anywhere without a whimper infact i recon they will roar thier way on to safety from here ! But one thing amongst many will be remembered in years to come and that is..... swansea 3 cardiff 0
I just cant see HJ being allowed to sack anyone without majority say so of the board. We all know that Hj is the mouth piece for the finnance men behind the scene. Whilst there may well have been a dislike between HJ and ML surely all desicions are made by the board and not one person.
I believe Jenkins has the board by the short and curlys, and always has . The board is Jenkins support system at times like this to deflect blame away from Huw. Huw being the only one sticking up for Laudrup from the board might fly with a grade one class but please .----
You clearly do not understand our club by this statement Breezy, you need to go back to the drawing board, better luck next time aye!......
Still can't work out how Huw is the decision maker. Martin Morgan is the majority share holder and he tells Huw what to do not the other way round.
Yes.the No1 man of their Supporters Club called them idiots who did not know that CCFC are liable for any damage caused by their fans. So Tan will have to come up with the cash and put it on the clubs tab. More debt for the club not for Tan. Doh !!!
Huw was the one for your info breezy who had to convince the board to give laudrup more chances because the board were ready to terminate his services long ago....Why do you think laudrup was finally sacked....Because jinx could no longer justify keeping him. The Board did not want him, the players did not want him, and most of the fans did not want him and jinx finally had to admit that by keeping laudrup would probably more of an hindrance than an asset. We had won just 8 times since the middle of last season so you cant blame injuries, It was laudrup who only wanted a small squad of players anyway when most were telling him he was wrong because of the extra games we had to play...His training routine was so bad that players were knocking on jinx's door to complain and that is if he could be bothered to turn up for training because he put outside interests first....Even his past clubs said he was not a good manager and he was sacked from one and he walked out on the others. He had a huge ego because he has always been looked up too as a player and he though he could command the same status as a manager.....Well i think he has got the message now that he is not someone special as a manager as he was as a player...
